October 25th, 2015

The ASE recognizes businesses that have a high degree of commitment to excellence and training. In the entire State of California, the ASE has awarded only 109 Auto Repair companies with their highest honors, The ASE Blue Seal of Excellence Recognized Businesses. Keep in mind, there are Tens of 1000′s of auto repair shops, dealerships, and other facilities in the state, so this is a very significant qualification to our abilities to provide service to your vehicles.

1.   The ASE stands for the Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.

2.   The ASE is the only nationally recognized institute that certifies technical staff in the automotive business.  They train and certify auto repair technicians all over the country.

3.   There are about 35,000 auto repair shops in California.  However only a little more than 109 are awarded the ASE’s highest honor for an auto repair shop — The ASE Blue Seal of Excellence.  Local Heroes Auto is one of these Shops.

4.   This designation means we have met their high standards by having a high percentage of our staff that is either ASE Certified or ASE Master Technician.

The bottom line is the ASE has verified, for you, that we have the qualifications needed to perform auto repair services with great expertise.

Once inside, most establishments proudly display the ASE certificates earned by their technicians in their office or waiting room. Finally, ASE-Certified Technicians often wear the ASE Blue Seal patch on the shoulder of their uniforms, and are more than willing to show you their credentials.
